- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always studying and learning. I am an avid learner so I stay up to date on the newest trends, tricks by reading and attending semi ars and webinars and talking with colleagues.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It fell in my path.....friends and family always asked me to help redecorate and help them sell. My girlfriend was doing staging and asked me to help her. Here i am years later and loving it!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I think how you interact with the Stager is key. Are they listeneing to you? Are you both on the same page? Do they want you to spend thousands of dollars? No need to spend a ton of money. Yes to repairing broken items, unsightly areas, old dark paint, but it is usually all tasks you knew you needed to do anyway, but never got around to it. Now is the time.....it is a relationship and they need to treat you with respect and courtesy and be people of integrity.
