My husband and I first became acquainted with Robin in 1992 while attending a Homearama event that showcased local builders and interior designers. The house that Robin designed was one of our favorites. At the time, we were in the process of having a new house built and were having to make major design decisions. We realized quickly that we were in over our heads and needed professional help from a designer. Choosing Robin was probably the best decision that we made. The end design reflected our needs as well as our personal style and comfort. So, naturally, when we recently decided to update our master bath and kitchen, we did not hesitate to call Robin for the job. When she returned to our home, she was surprised that we had not changed anything of her original interior design from 22 years ago. To us, her design was timeless and we were still happy with everything. We totally put the renovation of the kitchen and bath in Robin's hands. She presented us with several options and advised us where to splurge and where to save, always being mindful of our budget restraints. On one occasion when I met Robin at a showroom, I saw something that I absolutely had to have but I knew my husband would not go for the high price tag. Robin searched around and eventually found exactly the same item at a more reasonable price. She is committed to making the customer happy. We went with a contractor recommended by Robin and we were very pleased with him, his workers, and their workmanship. Robin was constantly on site inspecting the work, tracking the deliveries, supervising the installations, and went out of her way to make the whole process as smooth as possible. Even though we had to leave town periodically while the renovations were in progress, we were confident that any problems that might occur would be handled capably by Robin. When Robin went on vacation, that did not stop her from working on our project, staying in contact with us and with the contractor, even emailing photos of tile choices, light fixtures, etc. that she found online. We are extremely happy with our new master bath and kitchen. Our master bath is such a relaxing and comforting space. I love it every time I walk in. The same with our kitchen. Even though we used basically the same footprint as our former kitchen, this new kitchen flows more efficiently and I feel I have more room. I love cooking again. My husband and I would highly recommend Robin. She is not only professional, efficient, and cost effective, but also incredibly easy to work with and very personable. We truly feel we made a wise investment in choosing Robin Ehlich as our designer.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge an hourly fee for design consultation and development. Once the scope is confirmed, the design and materials are approved, my time charges end.

I am constantly taking CEU course work. Most recently I completed a course on aging in place in the bathroom, presented buy Rohl.
