Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Clients say they enjoy working with me because I get their jobs done on time and on the budget they have to work with. They appreciate my ability to work in a variety of styles and my access to resources provides them with both the variety and price options rah they could not find on their own. Taking a home from the "before" to the after is always amazing! But even better is the reaction for my clients which is always how much more useable and comfortable their space is for them. But more importantly I always here "our hoke looks just like us - but we could NEVER have gotten it to look like this without you!"

Sue helped me change the entire look and feel of my house (excluding the kitchen which I had redone 6 months earlier). I told her I wanted to move to a single wall color throughout the house and replace the carpet in the only room that had carpet - the den). She was extremely patient and accommodating with showing me many different paint colors and carpet samples with no pressure to decide on any one style or color but giving the right amount of direction. Once we selected the paint colors and carpet, she coordinated everything with both the painter and the carpet installers. She coordinated with movers to relocate furniture, electricians to handle installation of ceiling fans and light fixtures and furniture companies in placing orders and delivery for new furniture and lighting. Sue ordered pictures for the walls, assisted in selecting framing and helped hanging existing and new pictures throughout the house. Sue was always cordial, polite and upbeat, responded to email and phone messages promptly and met me at the house for necessary consultations. Sue made the redesign process as painless as possible and it was a pleasure to work with her.

Working with Sue has been more than I ever expected...her expertise was apparent all through the project...her ability to understand her clients needs, design direction and style then turn it into reality...outstanding!!! I think I was most impressed with how easy she has made everything...she manages the project and really does the hard part! I always knew she was amazing...she has exceeded my expectations.

Sue is an incredible resource. She has the design talent to help your home or office look gorgeous. And, she can solve problems that surface when trying to make certain furniture and accessories work. She also knows how to work with a client's budget.

We have had the privilege of working with Sue to bring our house and décor to “present day”. She is fabulous! What we appreciated most about Sue was her willingness to listen to us, honor our budget, her eye for color and the pace at which she works. She did a terrific job of putting our thoughts and ideas first while at the same time providing some new and fresh ideas. We love the transformation to our house. It is warm, inviting, and comfortable with understated elegance. Thank you Sue!!!!!

I hired Sue to stage my home. She was one of the more expensive ones, and unfortunately I overlooked the fact that her references were primarily interior design, not staging. I have a large home and had no problem with her focusing on key areas; however, what she did in those few areas was sparse to say the least. The accessories were practically nil, there were no lamps and she was very slow to respond. Importantly, her furniture and its placement were incredibly inept. A high backed uncomfortable sitting chair instead of a comfortable sofa in the family room, shoving all the furniture in the corner of the living room because she apparently doesn't know how to direct traffic patterns to the stairs using furniture. I fired her after paying $1,800 because I knew having pictures taken of what she had done would be worse than having the house sit empty. Since then, my mom and I, both non-design "professionals," came to Charlotte and decorated the entire house over a long weekend using a mix of Craig's List finds and accessory purchases...all for less than what I paid Sue! It looks great and I've had offers on the house since then. If you are considering Sue, please contact me because I have pictures of what she did and then what my mom and I did.The difference is obvious. I also encourage you to look carefully at her pictures. I was swayed by her references, who no doubt are her friends or who lack the most rudimentary of design appreciation. But if you look carefully you will see it's very basic and nothing you can't do yourself. If fact, now that I'm back in Charlotte, if you are considering Sue, contact me and I will be happy to give you some suggestions on where to go, what to buy and what to do. I promise you it will look better and be vastly cheaper and more quickly done. This is undoubtedly one of the most scathing reviews I have written on the web. I'm a very busy mom and business owner and simply don't have time. But I don't want anyone to waste the money I did on this woman.
