- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have performed solo and with bands or even as a DJ (which is very fun too!). I often help clients figure out what they want and collaborate with them to help them realize their creative or social vision. As a composer, it is not much different. I work with filmmakers and choreographers to compose music for their art and a lot of my job is collaborating and helping them figure out what they want for their artistic vision.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I collaborated with a choreographer and composed the music for an entire dance production. Part of this was performed at the Kennedy Center, in Washington D.C. in May, 2012.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
You need original music. I write the music, get the musicians to perform it (if it's not something I can do by myself), record it onto a CD (if necessary). Great music didn't stop with Beethoven and Mozart, but is being created everyday!
