Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Apparently I have a way of making complicated topics (like compression for example) seem much easier. Also, I have the patience required to stick with a topic until absorbed, which is often lacking. Seeing people realize their full potential and gain an understanding of topics that may have eluded them.

Hired Rob to be my audio engineer instructor. Rob has been upfront and honest about everything from the beginning. His prices are more than reasonable, and everything that seems foreign to me, he has the ability to make it understandable. Would recommend him to anyone especially those who do have prior training and are wary about it.

For the first timer, Catalyst has the best of both worlds -- impressive pro gear and a super affordable rate! But those who know Rob can attest that he is one of the most knowledgeable engineers in the game. Plus he's well connected! He brought my trumpet mixes to a level I didn't think they could sound like, then got me a bit of exposure in Pro Audio Review magazine, of which he is one of the regular article contributors. I've also come to learn a ton more about audio not only through his articles (which are a great read for those who enjoy the techy talk with a bit of quirky humor), but largely through his small group seminars, which commence about once per season. Rob's one of the best cats to get your mixes done right while keeping the life and MUSIC in your mixes, and he's one of the most hardworking cats you'll ever meet! Thanks, Rob!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Audio production seminars - Every three months, four attendees max, a variety of music production topics

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Seek out experience, anybody can talk junk, but an actual track record speaks volumes. Also, ask for references ... there's nothing like a true customer testimonial.
