- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My wedding and event cakes start at $5.00 per person. (per serving) The final pricing will depend on the type of cake that is ordered and the complexity of the decorative work. These cakes are for groups of over 16 servings. My standard cakes will serve up to 16 people. Delivery is available within 200 miles for a fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to begin the process with a phone call. It's so much more personal and easier to get a better feel for what you are looking for! From there, depending on what your needs are, I'll send you a menu and schedule a tasking appointment for an event cake. Otherwise, if you just need a birthday cake, or dessert for a dinner party or just because it's Tuesday (!!) we can schedule your order, arrange for pickup time or delivery, and take your payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been working as a pastry chef for over 30 years, and worked with one of top chefs in the country! I was featured in Gourmet Magazine back in the 1980's and was a regular chef guest on a PBS cooking show in South Florida.
