- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
i take into account a few things when determining pricing: travel time, difficulty of booking, depth of instructions, my experience, and behaviors. for example, if a puppy who is a puller, jumper, and leash reactive needs to be walked, i will upcharge. my minimum drop in time is generally 30 minutes (unless otherwise discussed) and with those things taken into account the drop in might take me longer, which i charge extra for. i offer interest free payment options, so that you’re getting quality pet care when you need it!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
i’ve grown up with a unending love for all types of animals. i wanted to provide the most peace and comfort to clients who have to leave their pets
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
i recently worked with a kitten who was very shy and timid. the client told me she rarely came out from under the bed, and i probably wouldn’t see her during my visits. during the meet and greet, she wouldn’t come near me. by the end of the first visit, she was curled up in a ball in my lap, and the client was ecstatic and impressed with how fast we clicked. i care about my work for this reason - i want to be a person your animal knows they can trust, even when their people are away.
