Introduction: I provide creative and documentary styles of photography. During a session or event I love to catch candid moments, but also really enjoy creating beautiful images that are posed and/or planned. I can provide beautiful, clean, natural light images. Or I can use creative lighting to create something entirely different.
I have always been artistic, Whether it was school projects or at home painting along with Bob Ross on tv, I have always had a true love of art. When my first son was born in 2004 I decided to take my art digital, and that is where my journey with photography began.

Melissa is Amazing!!! I have used her several times in the past couple years. She is very professional. Melissa is always on time and very outgoing. She shows you ideas and gets your input. Melissa is very good with children. I have a child who needs to be in the right mood to get his pictures taken. She will bargain with him. He tells a couple jokes and makes some funny faces, then it is time to be serious.
The first time I used Melissa, I was so tired of the same old sports pictures every season. I was totally in love with how the pictures turned out. She captured my son and his surroundings perfectly. They were more than I could have hoped for. No more pictures of my boys holding an upside down basketball , putting one foot on a soccer ball or putting a baseball bat on one shoulder. I have also had her come to my boys games and take action photos. She has captured stolen bases, homeruns, first goals ,first time getting an interception or even a first touchdown. She just has a natural knack!
The second time, My husband used her for my Mother's Day gift. We had to bring the boys to her twice. One child was not a happy camper that day. She was very sweet and calm with him. To be honest, even his grumpy pictures are some of my favorites. Speaking of favorites, I love EVERY picture she took . I cannot pick one that I want to put in my Mother's Day Frame. Just when I think I have figured out which one I want to frame, I fall in love with another one.
I plan on using Melissa Biggers Photography for every special occasion in the future.

When we decided to get our family pictures taken we knew we didn't want to go to a studio. I also knew I would need someone I felt comfortable with, I am very uneasy in front of a camera. Melissa did so much more than make us feel comfortable. She was patient, kind and so funny. She understood that my youngest daughter is very shy and knew just what to do to get her laughing and before you knew it we had amazing pictures of her gorgeous smiling face. We are a family of six with four girls ages 22-4 and Melissa was able to find a little bit of all of our personalities. This was our first experience with a professional photographer and we could not have been any happier. The pictures were so beautiful. To our family they are more than just pictures though, they are these precious little captured moments in our family's time together. Can't say enough!!!!

Melissa Biggers is an incredible talent who has captured some of the most memorable of moments in my family's lives for several years now. She is professional and a 'true' talent. Her passion for photography is evident in the images she shoots; you can really feel the emotions in every photo as if you were there. The photographs she has taken throughout these years are those which I can never put a price on. In addition to her fantastic work, she is absolutely reasonably priced and has always gone above and beyond for us. I can never put into words how much all of our photos mean to us. But, that's the real beauty of it. No words are needed when Melissa is behind the camera. Thank you to Melossa Biggers Phitograohy for a lifetime full of memories to cherish forever.

Melissa is absolutely amazing. She is extremely patient which we desperately need with a family of 6. She's very innovative and has new and fresh ideas. Our family has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her as well as the amazing shoots she has done for us. We highly recommend Melissa. 😊
