FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I research the latest methods, I attend conferences for music teachers, and I go to concerts weekly.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You get what you pay for. My prices aren't the lowest, but they are still very competitive. I have a Bachelor's degree in music and a Masters degree in music. I have been playing since I was 4-5 years old. I have been teaching for about 14 years now. There are a lot (I mean a LOT) of music instructors out there giving private lessons, but there are not a lot of quality teachers. You will waste a lot of time, money, and potential if you spend time taking lessons from the wrong teacher (I have even experienced this myself). As in any field, there are a lot of people working in it because they either strongly think they can (even without certifications or training), or for the wrong reasons (they just need the money). Things to consider are their background experience, education, years teaching, personality, accomplishments, etc.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It takes time to develop a skill. Creating music is very fulfilling and with time and the right fit for a teacher, you can go much further, quicker.
