Creative Child, Family & Pet Photography

I am a wife, a mother, an animal lover and a creative, lifestyle photographer with a candid, unscripted, photo-journalistic style, specializing in custom, on-location child, family and pet portraits using only natural lighting to create one-of-a-kind, photographic fine art. I live in North Charlotte, NC and cover Charlotte and surrounding areas.

A lifelong traditional portrait artist and 15-year Photoshop veteran, my background is in digital design and photo restoration, retouching and repair.

I am passionate about capturing the essence and individuality of everyone I photograph. I do so with a 'fly-on-the-wall' approach, fun photo sessions, and allowing you to just be yourself, which all enables me to turn an otherwise ordinary and forgotten moment in time into a lasting memory for you and your loved ones to look back upon and cherish.

Though sessions average 1.5 - 2 hours, I don't set a time limit which lets everyone to relax without pressure of time constraints. I find it is especially helpful for photographing children and pets, who may be a little bashful at first, by allowing them enough time to play and get comfortable.

I thrive on capturing interactions between loved ones, loving glances, fleeting moments, silly faces and that special sparkle in your eye.

In addition to photography, I also provide photo restoration and retouching services.

Looking at a photo is a way for the future to look into the past - into a moment that evokes an emotion when viewed. That may mean remembering the smile of someone long gone, or the twinkle in your baby's eye when they were about to do something a little mischievous.

It may mean seeing an ancestor for the very first time and realizing just how much you resemble them. Photos aren't just for you. You are creating a photographic legacy for future generations to see and to smile upon.
