Look for a licensed Broker who is: *a person of integrity *a great listener who is tuned in to your tastes and needs *full-time in the business of real estate *experienced with the types of services you need *knowledgeable about the area where you want to live *able to research and provide timely accureate information for decision making. *well-connected to professionals in real estate & related fields *sophisticated in business matters *someone who has the license authority to be in charge of other agents. *a member of a trade association such as the National Association of Realtors (NAR), meaning the agent is privy to listings, market information, and other data that nonmembers might struggle to obtain, and *at the upper end of the profession, has a masters or a PhD, or has a GRI, CRS, or CCIM. Other real estate designations are very easy to obtain for a fee and a few hours of online study.
