FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge $20/hour, so for a fixed price project my price will be based on that. I take a look at the project, estimate how long I think it will take, and quote from there.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to start by discussing the details of the project. I try to find out exactly what the client wants out of the final video and how I can help them reach that goal. Often, in order to find out what edits will work best, I prefer to start the edit, communicating with the client along the way about what is and isn't working. This way, we can work together to create the desired video, but allows me to lend my expertise as an editor so that it looks as good as it can.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. in Cinema-Television from Regent University.
