Introduction: I majored in Psychology for 3 years before switching to photography. I love studying the way people interact and I think it adds a unique element to my photography because I'm not just photographing people and poses- I'm capturing moments and giving you photos that have a story.

My wedding was 5 months ago. I was promised my wedding photos 4-6 weeks after the wedding. I still have not received them. I have contacted Christina on numerous occasions by phone, email, Facebook and even left dozens of voicemails. She never returns any phone calls. I feel like I was scammed. 6 weeks after the wedding, I contacted her inquiring about the status of my photos and she said they were almost complete and she would mail them out by the end of the week. Another month had passed and still no photos so I tried calling but no answer. I left a voicemail and an email. She emailed me back stating that she never started working on my photos but they were next in her queue and would be sent to me soon. Another month later and still no photos. She would not return any of my phone calls or emails so I had to consult with an attorney to see what I should do. I emailed her again asking about my photos and I also informed her that I consulted with an attorney. She took that as a threat and said that she would get my photos to me when they were done. I've emailed and called her multiple times since then but she has not responded. I now have no other choice but to go ahead an pursue legal action. It sucks when people rip you off. I never expected this from her because she seemed so nice the day she came to photograph my wedding. She also stated that would get a few other services like a photobooth for the wedding and a photobook of my images, but that never happened. I never complained about that because I just wanted the pictures, but I did pay for those services that I never received. Maybe someone else's experience with Christina will be different, but mine has been horrible and extremely stressful.

FAQs

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I completed a competitive internship with a high fashion magazine in Charlotte, NC. I was able to collaborate with models, set up photo sessions, and brainstorm with my editor, art director, and designer to create intriguing photos that worked well with the article or spread they were paired with. This exposed me to in studio design, model concept, high fashion, and runway photography-AMAZING! I learned so much from some of the most elite photographers in the area.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always look at a photographer's portfolio- both printed and online. Some photos can look great online, but print horribly! Definitely make sure you know what you're getting. If you sign a contract, go over all the fine print and ask questions about possible scenarios- e.g. What is it rains? What if we have to re-locate? etc. Know their policies so there are no surprises on your big day.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Each member of our creative team believes in making a positive difference in our community. We not only volunteer our time and talents, but also 10% of each booking goes directly to our partners at the Make a Wish Foundation. We love seeing the impact this organization is having in the lives of children and families all over the nation. We're proud to be a part of making wishes come true!
