The Heritage Academy LLC offers early childhood education to two, three and four-year old children in a loving and safe environment through biblical-based teaching. Our teachers focus on the five core areas of development for each child:

• Social
• Spiritual
• Emotional
• Physical
• Cognitive

We use developmentally-appropriate practices and activities, and each class offers unique themes designed especially for preschool children. Field trips and family interactive events offer opportunities for everyone to get involved!

With the assistance of community volunteers, and enrichment specialists, our preschool is able to offer extra-curricular learning opportunities. Some of these offerings include:

• American Sign Language (ASL)
• Elementary Spanish and French
• Music and movement
• Multi-cultural awareness activities
• Fire prevention and safety
• Operation Christmas child shoebox drive

The Heritage Academy LLC operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All of our teachers are CPR, fire safety, and First-Aid certified. We offer year-round classes for your child.

  The Heritage Academy is THE only preschool choice for my children. My daughter (who is entering kindergarten in the fall, *sniff, *sniff) was always excited to go to preschool and truly felt loved and safe at the Heritage Academy. In fact, she misses it so much and asks me regularly when she can go back. Each day when I picked her up, I'd hear about all the amazing things she was learning, both academically and biblically. The songs she learned there are normal, beautiful sounds I hear daily in my house.
  I highly recommend The Heritage Academy to anyone who is looking for a God centered, loving, fun preschool with a wonderful curriculum. I have no doubt that my daughter is well equipped to start kindergarden, having learned so much at the Heritage Academy.
  It is apparent to anyone who spends any amount of time with Cynthia Phillips how much passion she has for teaching children and her love of God, she exudes it! She spreads that love down to the children and I know that my daughter feels loved by Cynthia! When my son starts preschool, I will look no further than The Heritage Academy!

  We LOVE the Hertiage Academy! Love is a great word because that's what I feel when I walk into the preschool to drop off or pick up my daughter. The teachers are so nice, understanding and really do love children and teaching. My daughter had Ms. Cynthia as a teacher in the past and when I heard she was starting her own preschool I followed her there. That's how much we love her and her passion for teaching children. As an elementary school teacher myself, I have complete trust in The Heritage Academy to teach my daughter what she needs to know before entering kindergarten. The teachers are willing to challenge the children who need the extra challenge and also work with the children who might need an extra push. The Heritage Academy is clean, organized and full of life! The teachers give a little extra TLC when needed. I would recommend this preschool to anyone!

  This is the best school in the world!! It is very rare that you meet teachers who are truely gifted with children! Ms.Cynthia definately has built a school with a heart for God and he has blessed my family for leading us here. We live in Charlotte and my work schedule has changed so it would be easier for me to move my little girl, but they are stuck with us till Kindergarten. I couldnt imagine anyone else taking care of my little princess! She has learned so much and is so well advanced that her pediatrician is so amazed at what she knows at her age!

  I love The Heritage Academy and so do my children. My 4yr daughter came home one day name the 12 Disciple, and sings in Spanish. I don't know to many kids at that age who can do that. My 2yr son was coming home saying his ABC and wanted to sit down and try to write number along with his ABC. By them both coming home doing something new that they had learn at school show me that not only did I find a good preschool, but I found teacher that is willing to take time out of there busy life to work with children and help them to learn. Keep up the good work Ladies & I will see you in Aug.
