Introduction: MHAworks is a progressive architecture firm serving clients in the Carolinas and Virginia from offices in Durham and Greenville, North Carolina. Founded by Michael J. Hining in 1988, AIA, the firm now has a staff of 30 professionals providing architecture, interior design and planning. MHAworks endeavors to complement our clients' vision, goals and program with building design and interior design that is creative, insightful and best suited to the needs of the individual client. Our designs are not self-conscious and, more often than not, will seek to blend with the environment in which they are situated. We are confident that we have a successful process, because repeat clientele provides more than eighty percent of our work.
