Jackson should be writing this review since he is the one who has benefited from all of the hard work you put into him! My dog is classified as a special needs dog (seizures, psychological issues). Alisa was able to help him overcome his spinning and help build up his self confidence and esteem. He did the basic training (4 sessions, 1 hour each) and successfully learned sit, come, stay, he'll, and place. He was a challenge for sure, but she knows what she is doing and that's why the training was so successful. I can't thank her enough for what she has done for my baby. We are a much happier dog home thanks to the training! Jackson can be outside, off leash, and is trusted to be safe and to make smart decisions. Everyday with him is a treat and thankfully he gets to really be a dog now. I tell everyone (vet, dog store owners, and random people with dogs in the street!) about their spectacular work! Keep up the great work :-)

Alissa encourage our entire family to come to the visits which is important because the entire family deals with our dog. She is up front and honest about the training. If you don't Pratice it will show in how well you work the remote and how well the dog responds. Alissa is very encouraging and made me a confident off leash dog owner and handler. Even after our lessons were over she still answers any questions I may have. I can take my dog Stella Offleash with me every where I go. Stella behaves better than dogs on leashes and that amazes me! The training has also placed a right bond between myself and my dog! We both respect each other and trust each other! I plan in taking further classes!

Alisa took our Lucas, abused rescue 1/2 German Shepherd and 1/2 Belgium Malinois and got him walking and enjoying his world. He has never barked since we got him. He cowered with his tail between his legs and getting him out of the back of the truck was hard to do. Alisa taught him confidence and peace in his environment. He was a 2 week training session. Lucas is slowly coming out of his shell and is starting to bond with me and not as his caretaker. He truly loves his collar and orange controllerhe looks at it when you give him a command just to see if he has to obey. He never bothered to answer to his name, get a treat or play with a toyOff Leash K9 training gave us our best friend, Lucas, and he got a new lease on life. I thought before Alisa trained him that I was going to have to have him put to sleep b/c he never left his crate, ventured outside his immediate area or even eat in front of usthat was no life for any dog. But after 2 weeks, Lucas started responded with confidence to his surroundings and not running from waving flags, people, loud noises, etc.

Alisa has been amazing to work with already and we are just two lessons in. She is very thorough in explaining what she is teaching, how it works and why. She made sure my husband and I completely understood the process and that we were comfortable with the training and practice for the upcoming week before we left. Callie is already gaining confidence and learning more and responding better than we could have ever imagined after 9 days. Alisa's methods work and I highly recommend her.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Diana and Alisa have been working together for 5 years however, their experience and love for dogs far exceeds that time frame. Their friendship started with a love and mutual respect for dogs, especially, German Shepherds. In 2010, they co-founded Southeast German Shepherd Rescue and reside on the board of the organization acting as President and Vice President. Southeast German Shepherd Rescue has grown significantly over the last several years. The rescue has achieved a 6 figure operating budget and shown impressive growth making them one of the largest German shepherd rescues in the country. Between them, they have over 15 years of experience in working with dogs on a daily basis. Aftermulitple adopters asking them to help train their dogs, Alisa and Diana decided to look into a full fledged training business and have never looked back.
