Bio

Graduates from Duke, we created Greenway out of our local waste veggie oil to fuel biodiesel production operation. Local bus companies refused to run biodiesel saying it couldn't be done, so we had no option but to show them that it could!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Party buses, weddings and tours, protests to DC and the State Capital

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Safety is critical, make sure when getting quotes to ask for Certificate of Insurance, and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rating, because all carriers are not created equal. Our maintenance program is one of the best and the take pride in it.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Attention to detail, on-time, curtious with a broader mission of service to community and Planet

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Meeting the diversity people, engaging them in a positive conversation about our future while having fun or learning.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Does the exhaust smell like french fries? Sometimes it does, or Chinese food, whatever the source feedstock of the fuel, we say the smell makes you hungry, "Save the Planet but not your waistline!"

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Many. We have taken people on awesome tours and trips, across our Country State and town, and started many a young couple on their way to a hopefully long and prosperous relationship. Nothing says you care than by making smart and empathetic decisions about your service providers and making sure they are green and sustainable as possible. The response, for the most part, has been very positive and appreciative.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. This a very hard business, a lot of moving parts and our effort to be green, use biofuel and be socially conscious is heroic. We wish more people would take on these challenges and be willing to pay for them because our future as a species on this Planet depends on it.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. We choreographed 10 buses to the Moral Monday protests in Raleigh, Planned Parenthood, NAACP, Peoples Alliance, ERUUF and students from Elon. Time for folks to to stand up and do something about climate change and social justice and we are glad we can help let people voice their free speech and do what our Democracy requires of us.
