- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
YES, I am always learning more about my field I think it is very important to better serve my clients. The most notable education is being a part of ABC, Association of Bridal Consultants. They continue to educate their members through local, state and national meetings. I try to attend every state meeting which is about 3x each year. I also take advantage of any continuing education by the way of webinars, tele-seminars and online education courses that are event related.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Think about what you want out of your wedding or event, what things are most important and what things are least important. Think about your realistic budget; this is how we professionals are able to tell you what will and will not work. Even if it is not final, set an amount that you can share with your professionals because we need to know.
