FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our fees are transparent. In North Carolina, the 2010 Incentive Advisory Committee of the NC Real Estate Commission concluded that full disclosure should remain the rule. In other words, a buyer client working with a buyer agent is entitled to know what the buyer agent (i.e., the company) is going to receive and from whom when acting as a buyer agent, as well as the amount of all compensation the buyer agent/company will receive if acting as a dual agent. The fee is negotiated up front so that the clients are protected. NC Administrative Code 21 NCAC 58A .0109 is the rule of law governing fees and commission for our industry.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a Professional Realtor and Designer I am required to by the NC Real-estate Commission to attend courses specific to my profession. As your professional agent, I attend ongoing professional development programs, seminars and classes. Knowledge is power and with up to date knowledge of the industry, I can represent you as a fully qualified professional.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I realized in the 5th grade that I had a natural talent to arrange rooms to make them more cozy and appealing to everyone that walked in. I began changing the furniture around in my parents home. As a young adult I attended Western Design Institute leading to my credentials as a professional designer. Then I combined my design eye with residential real-estate. Once you partner with me as your Professional, I provide turn-key services as your Professional Realtor.
