- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing stairs, cabinetry or other woodwork projects are not simple quotes. Its all about options and preferences. Even a base price requires a selection of perimeters. Thus ( More information will be needed) Wood species Finish Dimensions etc...
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We specialize in custom stairs and cabinetry. If you want a curved stair, that's easy for us or if you want a straight flight with a flare or bowed starting step, that's fine too. Custom newels, balusters, railing, etc..., all to suit your needs. Cabinets are another part of our business. We like to build to your needs. Custom or standard detail are available. We apply a quality finish to our projects with faux, clears, stains or pigmented finishes. All that's left is the install, which we do as well to maintain the quality of our projects.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I always tell potential customers to compare apples to apples when looking at pricing and quality. In other words, compare the detail of each quote, don't assume anything, ask the question. Where some companys will try to do the minimum for profit, at Simply Woodcraft we generally offer more for the money. We like to see happy customers.
