- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you are looking for a person to help you with the issues you are having with your dog, be sure to fully describe all the issues. Ask the trainer if they have handled all of those issues, what approach they take (treats, clickers, pinning, shock collars, e.g.) and the results they have achieved. Ask how long they have been doing this, what type of formal training they received and is it on-going. Ask if they will provide testimonials from clients. Have a good conversation and make sure that you 'connect' with the trainer, as they will be helping you with a member of your family!
