About
My mission is to provide a place to help people in their pursuit of health and fitness. The #1 reason people drop out of gyms is that they feel uncomfortable there. The #2 reason people drop out of gyms is that they don't know how to use the equipment or exercise correctly. I want to help YOU overcome that obstacle, so I've created a place where people want to work out. I also hold a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine I love helping people. My passion is health and teaching my clients to be healthy and active. I want to teach all my clients how to train THEIR own bodies so they can use it for the rest of their lives.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I was originally pre-med, and wanted to be a orthopedic surgeon. I blew my knee out for the second time when I was 20, and was doing physical therapy and started toying with the idea of going to school for that. While I was in college I started teaching SPIN classes and doing personal training. I fell in love with it. I have always wanted to help people, and being a trainer I got work with people two to three times a week and got to see results. I knew from then on that's what I wanted to do with my career.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Make sure he or she is nationally certified, has CPR and AED certifications and carries their own liability insurance. Ask what type of clients they normally work with, what is their educational background and how long they have been a trainer.
