Learning guitar can be a difficult journey, like any attempt at mastery. Just getting started is usually the hardest part, too. It requires practice and desire, but once you start hearing the notes and chords coming out of your instrument, you'll never want to stop! A good teacher is the quickest, best way to learn. DVD series or online lessons can charge like $200 dollars and can't possibly tailor the lesson to your own personal needs like an actual teacher can, and that's 10 solid lessons worth right there! Most importantly though, you should never give up. Everybody can play, whether you're blind or have no arms or shy or whatever, playing music can open up new worlds for you.
