Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Cheaper or free is not always a good thing. Your pictures are what you're going to look at for the rest of your lives and want to show your children one day.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Find someone that has loves what they do and is not just completely about business. Just because they have been doing this for decades, doesn't mean they are the best. New and innovated photographers can give you a new more edgy style!!!

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Anything that you can think of. There are never bad questions. You want to trust the person you're hiring, but also enjoy your day. You don't want to have someone in your face all day, or rude to your guests. You want to know that they're there, but also want them to blend in with your day. Your pictures will look better, and you and your guests will enjoy the day more.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love being a part of my client's special day. I love learning what they want from the wedding pictures, but then also giving them images they would have never thought of. Seeing their faces, once they see their final images is priceless.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I took some photography classes in high school and loved them. I started having friends and family ask to take their pictures and I just kept going. I have always done photography on the side, while doing other jobs/careers. However, a couple years ago, I decided that there was nothing else I would rather do more.
