Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Most commonly our jobs consist of decking, tile backdrops in kitchens and bathrooms, and siding.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. We would always advise a customer to go with their gut feeling. Along with some research on the business in question, their instincts should always help guide the way. If a customer as a bad feeling about a contractor, it's more than likely for a good reason.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Do your research. Before calling for an estimate, calculate the square footage of the space which is being worked on, know the range of prices for the supplies being used, and though our pricing is always fair, don't always go the cheapest route. If a contractor's price is dramatically lower than average there is probably a reason. You get what you pay for.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Our work is always finished down to the final detail. We are perfectionists in everything we do at home and at work. Our grandfather taught us that if you do good work people will remember you for good things, and if you do bad work people will only remember the bad things about you. We also guarantee our work for 5 years after the day of completion. We are always attentive to the homeowners needs, and make it the highest priority to get the job done right the first time.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We like that every job we do is in a different place and we always get to meet new people. When the job is complete the feeling of accomplishment is like no other. Our favorite thing is that the customer gets to see what he or she wanted and nothing less.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. The most commonly asked question we get is: "Will we get what we pay for?" Our answers is simply: "Of course." Our business thrives on 'word of mouth'. Without a pleased customer we would have no business at all. Giving the customer exactly what they pay for is paramount to our success!

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. We decided to get into this line of work because it was a passion of our grandfather's to design and build homes for his own family and others as well. As kids we always wanted to improve our community and make it beautiful. There is really no better way to do that than to be a contractor.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. A recent job we can say we are most proud of is a 750 square foot deck.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Always use contracts and be mindful of the terms. Contracts are not only meant to protect the customer, but to protect you as well.

Q. Write your own question and answer it.

A. Do you guarantee your work? Yes. Carapellatti & Company has guarantees for all of our work. Please ask about our guarantees as it pertains to your specific job.

Q. Write your own question and answer it.

A. In the case of a customer expressing displeasure in your work or your interactions with them, how would your business handle the situation? In the case that anyone would be displeased with us for any reason we would simply listen objectively and come to a mutual agreement or remedy. It's our top priority to serve our customers and make sure they are happy with not only the finished product but, the entire experience.
