Debbie is great! She is extremely professional and very down-to-earth. She always makes me feel comfortable. She will periodically check on you to make sure everything feels okay. I like how she explains what she's doing and why she's doing it. I always feel great after a massage from her! : )

Debbie Barton is an amazing massage therapist. She gives her total attention to my specific needs. She always addresses the specific pain that I describe. She never tries to sell me anything or get me to try something I don't need. I appricate the time she takes to make sure all my needs are addressed. Thank you Debbie for being so good to me.

Question and answer

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I am a customer and I do receive massage weekly. I would want my client to know that massage has changed very much lately. It has become a well respected and therapeutic profession.

Massage can help prevent unnecessary drugs and surgery. When you think about the cost of medication, doctors visits, possible surgery and recovery time massage is quite a bit cheaper.

Massage also doesnt have side effects medications due or the amount of time to recover from surgery.
It has been used since at least 5000 BC by the Chinese, Egyptians, Romans, Japanies.
Chiropractiors, Physical Therapists recommend Massage for many of their patients.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I treat my clients like I want to be treated. My appointments are scheduled 30-60 minutes apart.

. In this manner I can give each of my clients my full attention.
My treatment room has a heated massage table that has extra padding, and a warm fleece pad. With nature sounds, and soft, calming music, warm moist heat packs are available at no extra cost. I offer my clients the choice of Rain Forrest, or Lavendar aromatherapy.

I use subdued lighting to help my clients relax. candlelight is an option that I use on occasion.

I have gift certificates, specials, and massage packages available upon request.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I would have to say that what I like the most about my job is that knowing that I helped someone feel better.

Some of my clients have went to sleep during a massage session. Which helps me realize that they trust me and feel relaxed and secure in my treatment room.
I always call a new client later on the same day to ask if they have any questions or concerns for me, and to check on how they are feeling.
I encourage all my clients to feel free to give me any suggestions they might have to help me improve my practice.
I am not perfect and do not know everything. I need to know what makes them happy.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How often do you suggest that I have a massage?
My answere is "That depends on how you are feeling." "if you are in sever pain I would suggest every two weeks." "if you aren't having much pain I would suggest once a month to keep the problem from getting worse, and to eliminate it all together."

I have found it is alot easier to maintain your body like you do your car, to avoid having worse problems in the future.

Massage can avoid and stop alot of health problems if people would just give it a chance. Massage has changed quite drasticly over the years. It has become a very respectful, and professional field in the past few years.
