Answered initial call and came for estimate promptly. Decided on opener and agreed on the work.... I had to call him on the set date of install to find out he wasn't going to make it until the following day. I understand things happen in the construction industry and jobs get delayed but we were stood up twice, then nothing. It's a shame. Seemed like a great guy who knew his trade well. First bad review I've ever written.

This man is not registered as a licensed contractor or electrician. 10 weeks into a 4 week job and only half complete we fired him. He uses unskilled labor. Very poor work ethic. No communication. After I gave him a nearly 7k down payment he disappeared for nearly two weeks. When he did show up for 3 consecutive days he asked for 4k more. Beware.

Farren is not a licensed general contractor per the NCGCB. At this point Farren has stolen over $30k from my job. He has not completed half of the work and he has not paid subcontractors that he contracted the work to. A complaint and an investigator has been assigned. Do not use.
