Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Our services are, for the most part, installation of pre-purchased wood flooring. Some have already done tear out and disposal, others have not.
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. We have recently installed flooring for Bath and Body Works at both Southpark Mall and Cotswold Mall. We also installed flooring for Aerie by American Eagle in Concord Mills mall.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Make sure when hiring for flooring that is is a specialty. Not a handyman service. There is a difference. Never pay by the hour for flooring, it could end up taking a week to install. Make sure they are insured.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. That handyman services are not the best way to go when hiring someone to install your floors. You need pros with experience.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I pay close attention to small details. Including cutting door jambs and trimwork for wood install and using power stretchers for carpet install. I also work hard to help you save money. Tips like tearing out your own carpet can save you big money. Unlike others, I dont want to leave you broke after new flooring. I have offer a great special that includes carpet, padding and install for $1.40 a square foot. I want to help you improve the look of your home because I am a homeowner too!
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I enjoy being able to save homeowners money. I love to have my clients glowing with pride after they see thier new floors. I take pride in the fact that all my clients are able to refer me to thier friends with peace of mind that they will be completely satisfied as well. New flooring can change the entire look of your home, and the fact that you allow me in your home to install it makes me feel like I have accomplished something at the end of the day. Noone takes pride in thier work like I do.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. The most frequently asked question is: "How do you do it so much cheaper?". The answer is easy. I, along with my wife, do our work from our home. We have little to no overhead. We are the installers. Most companies and contractors sublet the work one or two times before the actual installer gets paid. That means at least three people are getting paid from one installation. You are paying those three people. Some companies do not even know the installer. You hire them and they hire someone else and they hire someone else. Can you even trust the installer that they have never met? Are they going to even show up? Who knows?
