Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Don't settle for a price or lack of experience. When looking for a web designer to represent your business on the internet, you should look at length of experience, background, history with a broad range of clients, and reviews from previous clients.
With over a decade of web design experience and with a Creative Director with 20 years of design experience, Bedford Falls Graphics is an excellent choice for you website design and development needs.
We work one-on-one with each client to make sure the site they hire us to build exceeds their expectations in what their website should be.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. The most important thing we tell all news clients is that YOU are the expert on your business. We need you - as a client - to educate us on how your business operates and the products and services you offer so that WE can build the perfect website TOGETHER. The input we have from a new client allows us to build a more informative site for your customers together.
There are a lot of companies out there with "turnkey" websites, but we like to spend time with our client first getting a feel for their business and their individual needs. We think that our hand-on, one-on-one approach with each client gives us the chance to learn about your business and that knowledge conveys in the "look and feel" and the content of your website.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. 1) How long have you been in business?
2) How many websites have you built?
3) May we contact your previous clients for references?
4) Can you show us sites you have have built that will be similar to my new site?
5) Can you provide examples of your programming so that I may see how my site will work?
6) How long will it take to build my website?
7) Will I own my domain name or will you?
8) Do you host websites? How many do you host?
9) Where is your datacenter(s) located? Do you provide 24/7 support for hosting?
10) When my site is finished? Who "owns" the code and graphics? My business, or is ownership retained by the developer/host?
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Be sure to budget the time to gather information about your business to help us build the best website for you. We will need photos, logos, text describing your business, your history, a list of your products and services, as well as a "wish list" of goals you would like your website to achieve.
For example, "gaining new customers" is good, but more specifically, "gaining new customers for my product ______ in the greater Charlotte area" is better.
We can help you market your website in specific areas and demographics, but we need to know that info for us to better serve you!
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Experience and Creativity.
You'll be hard pressed to find a local web design company with the creativity and experience that Bedford Falls Graphics has.
There are a lot of "specialty" design firms that focus on one client base, but with the varied background we have in clients, it enhances our experience and ability to "think outside of the box" when it comes to helping you achieve your website goals.
We have over a decade of experience and well over one hundred clients in various fields that we have worked with over the years. We'll be glad to add you to that list and we look forward to working with you to build your website!
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. The most common question we get is "how much will it cost?"
That's a tough question to answer when you first call. We'll need to gather some information from you about your business, what your goals are for your website and what you expect from us before we can offer a quote.
Our quotes included what we believe - in our experience - to be the best, most economical choice for you and your business. We will also offer other suggestions for your site with our quote. These may incur additional costs, but it should help your site gain visitors and popularity.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. As a designer, our Creative Director is constantly updating his experience with new programs and creative methods. Over the years, he has continued to update his skills and hone his skills in creativity and design.
Our programmers and developers constantly stay on top of the latest languages, updates and changes.
We use a wide variety of web developers, each specializing in a specific programming language or technique and will assign your work to the skill set of our creative and development team that can best serve you.
