Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. The most common work is families and Children. However, my seasons are packed with weddings! Those are my favorite. :) i enjoying capturing that special day in a couples life. I love the fine details! I am always looking for something new! a different pose, prop, something! I also understand working off a budget! i provide the price to my client that i myself woulf want to pay. and then offer them a payment plan to help them complete payment for their wedding photography. I DONT charge by the hour, for any of my sessions. I do provide CD of their images and they are to print as they wish! I can also provide low cost pro. printing if desired for an any session.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Finding someone that you can connect with on a personal level. Someone that you feel very comfortable with is very important, when it comes to hiring a photographer. Most of my clients and i become instant friends! Its great to do a couples engagement pictures, then the wedding and then not too long i am photography their babies! love seeing where photographs take people! When you loose a loved one, that is all you have left of them sometimes. I encourge people to take LOTS of pictures of their loved ones, and make sure that the person taking the pictures gets in their at some point! and thats where i come in at....:)
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Its doing what i totally LOVE! something i have a passion for and a drive to suceed at every shoot/session i do.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. Every session there is something that i take with me!! really.. something that i do, that makes me laugh at myself.. i do take my career serious, but in this line.. you have got to enjoy it, and make it fun! there is ALOT of people who hate to have their pictures taken, SO.... gotta make it a great experience for them everytime!
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. There is always learning new things and keeping up with the times. You can never stop learning! I am a self taught photographer. but i constantly am looking to learn more and more. and always looking to provide something different at every session i do. for myself and my client.
