I've been teaching ESL and basic skills for 10 years - both in organized classes and through individual tutoring. I can set up one-on-one or small group classes to work on grammar, writing, speaking, pronunciation, or other problem areas you may be experiencing. I've worked with beginning to advanced students.
I have an MA in guidance and counseling, with a specialty in the vocational area, so I can create lessons with job skills in mind. I got a certificate from Duke University in ESL instruction in 2001.
I was born and raised in the Northeast, but have been living in the Raleigh area since 1989, so I have a varied sense of life in the US and have traveled throughout the country.
