My husband & I recently moved from VA to NC with Stu Barnes as our realtor. We met with Stu on two different occasion to look at houses. We picked 12 houses to view in one day & Stu made it possible. He knew what we were looking for by the fourth house & was able to save us time by weeding out the undesirables. By our second meeting we narrowed it down to two houses. While still living in VA there were many occasions that papers needed signing, as always in buying a house. Stu was able to e-mail us all documents & with just a click we were able to sign and send. This made the process of buying so easy. We have had a smooth transition from VA to NC thanks to Stu. We have a wonderful house in a great subdivision.

Stu was very patient with us as we searched for homes in North Carolina while living in New York City. He showed us over 40 homes all around Raleigh to expose us to all the towns and what they had to offer. Very knowledgeable about Raleigh and all the surrounding areas. The house we actually purchased was taken off the market just prior to our last visit to NC and Stu was able to keep the appointment for us. He helped us through the whole process from the initial offering through to the closing, which we couldn't have survived it without him!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Check references.....research ANYONE you are going to be dealing with in this field. Unfortunately you really do not know if you have a knowledgeable agent until you get an offer and questions are going unanswered. It would be great to know how your agent would do in certain situations during the buying or selling period.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    There is a lot more to representing buyers and sellers in Real Estate transactions than meets the eye. Getting licensed is one thing....which is no cake walk, but also empathizing with your clientele and advising them on what the best "next" move may be is a huge part of the profession. Tell your Realtor today how much you appreciate their efforts:)
