Monique and Special Occasions by Design brought my wedding to the next level! She took my vision and made it reality. I originally just expected to hire her for a balloon arch. Then she asked if I needed help with anything else. I sure did! I gave her my colors, told her what I liked and didn't like, and my budget. From there, she kept me updated with new ideas and how the decorations were coming along. She is very responsive, and you can tell she takes pride in her work. My guests were stunned by how she turned a plain room into a cohesive elegant party. With balloon arch, sweet heart table decor, linens /chair covers/ decor for guest tables, cake table decor and back drop. I cannot recommend them enough! Do yourself a favor and hire them! I know I will again!

I was organizing my sisters baby shower and wanted a really pretty balloon display for picture purposes and that’s exactly what I got! Monique was super helpful in making sure the colors I wanted for the design were correct. The display itself was absolutely gorgeous. Everyone loved it and it matched the theme of the shower as well. Set up was super efficient, so was the clean up process. Monique was amazing.

Monique helped organize our daughter's first birthday. Monique has amazing ideas to create the perfect experience at a party. She helped us create a vision for the event and took note of our thoughts and preferences in the days leading up to it. She took the time to clarify all our questions. She is very organized and thinks of every detail to make the party more enjoyable. The decorations she and her team put up on the day of the event were very beautiful and on theme. Between the decorations, picking up and laying out out the food, hosting and organizing party favors, Monique and her team went above and beyond and helped make the event memorable for us. We will surely be reaching her to help us with future events.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends on the theme and budget. However, my pricing generally starts at $150 for setup per hr for setup. Decor prices start at $800 for 24 guests. Balloons, treats and backdrops can be added for an additional fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I request a theme and any picture ideas that the customer would like to utilize. I then sketch a plan and move on from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years of experience but no formal training.
