Introduction: We are interior designers who specialize in kitchen, bath design and remodeling... not just cabinetry sales people. There is more to a remodel job than just the functional products and the construction work. We help design the plans, select the products, and manage those items during construction to allow for a more seamless finished project. It is challenging and rewarding at the same time. There are hundreds of details that go into a kitchen or bath remodel, and if just one detail is overlooked... it can delay the job. We like a challenge, so it is our job to make sure those details are not missed and we find a great solution to any problem should it arise. It is very rewarding to see a room transformed into what our client had visioned. It makes us even happier they enjoyed working with us and want to work with us again in the future!

Our kitchen is one of the many beautiful kitchens in Essence Design Studio's gallery (it's the one with the huge island with chandeliers over it). We absolutely love it, and we loved working with Jessica on the project. She was extremely professional, friendly, easy to work with, creative and of course did beautiful work as evidence by the pictures. We shopped around quite a bit for kitchen designers before deciding on Essence, and a few of the things that set them apart were the following: 1) Flexibility. I wanted to do a lot of the construction work involved in my project myself or hire my own contractors for certain portions of it (we knocked down a wall, completely gutted the kitchen, re-wired, new plumbing, installed tiling flooring, etc), and unlike many designers who want to "control" the whole project, Essence really worked with us on our schedule and on our budget to get the job done together. 2) Price. Most of the higher end kitchen cabinetry like the Dura Supreme cabinets that we purchased are only available through a kitchen designer. We went to several other designers and got quotes on the cabinets and many of them appeared to have huge mark ups on the cabinets, but Essence's price quotes were quite reasonable by comparison and quite a bit less than most that we received. We really feel like we got great value for the price from Essence. 3) Friendly. Jessica was always a pleasure to work with and we always looked forward to our meetings and really had a great time being involved in our kitchen design process. When you are spending the kind of money you do when remodeling a kitchen, it should be as enjoyable a process as possible, and we were glad that we can look back on our experience with a smile on our faces. We consider Jessica a friend of the family now. We only met her partner a few times during our design process, but she also seem to possess the same great qualities that Jessica has. I can't imagine another company doing a better all around job or providing a better all around remodeling experience than we got from Essence, so we HIGHLY recommend them!

Having my kitchen remodeled was a very good experience. How many people can say that? I would recommend Essence Design Studio to anyone. Let them know what you like and they design, find the contractor and narrow down the overwhelming choices. It doesn't get much better than that.

We couldn't have been happier! Working with Jessica and Rebekah was so easy. They were flexible, patient and talented! My husband wanted to do some of the construction and planning himself. Jessica and Rebekah were there to provide guidance when needed and great design ideas. We originally planned on getting our cabinets from other sources, but ended up using Dura Supreme. The price was very competitive and they are absolutely beautiful! When we first started the project we were not sure what we wanted, but somehow in the end, with Jessica's and Rebekah's help, we got everything we could have dreamed of!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Both Rebekah & I have Interior Design Degrees and while going through college, knew it would not be an easy field! Each of us had an interest in Kitchen & Bath Design while in college... and decided to focus our energy on a specialized field as such. We just love the transformations that we are apart of working on kitchen & bath design!!
