- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies, depending on the type of entertainment, the time involved, the day of the week and the time of the year. The best prices can be found Monday through Thursday, and the best times those days are working hours. The most competitive time is weekends, and more specifically 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday, and near the holidays.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Good magicians are always ready or studying magic - from stage presence to performance psychology to new routines. I am no different.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was in college pursuing a degree in philosophy. and working as a counselor for at-risk youth. I learned a little magic to entertain some local children (and myself) as a break from studying.
