I am passionate about pets and promise to provide your best friend with the love, care, and entertainment they deserve while you're away!

I've been a pet owner for 25 years and have 15 years of pet care experience including walking, feeding, administrating medication, basic training and grooming, and in-home day and overnight care.

I've worked with horses, dogs, cats, bunnies, turtles, snakes, and fish. My canine clients range from 3 months - 14 years. All ages, breeds, and species are welcome!

References are available upon request. I offer a free 30-minute consultation!

In December 2009, I completed my master's at NCSU. Since then, I have been working as a freelance designer and passionate pet sitter!

I've been trained with the PetSmart Hotel and Doggie Daycare.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Daily Check-ins (30 minute visits while you're at work).
Multiple Check-ins (3-5 visits per day while you're on vacation).
Full Day/Overnight Care (pet will not be left alone more than 3 hours at a time while you're away).

All services include walks or jogs.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Meet your pet care provider prior to trusting your loved ones in their care.

What vibe do you get from them?
How does your pet react to them?

If you are not 112% comfortable with the sitter, if you have a tickle in your throat or butterfly in your stomach, find someone else!

There are tons of pet care specialists in the area to choose from and you'll know once you've found a good one.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Species, breed, age, gender.
Daily necessities (food, water, treats, toys).
Extras (baths/grooming, allergies, medications).
Mannerisms (towards people, towards dogs - on or off leash, car sickness...).
Friends.
Rules.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I have bonded with all of my pet clients and build a relationship with each. I do this by keeping my number of clients low and providing my full attention while they are in my care.

I also offer discounts and even volunteer my services for pets/families in need, or when I need extra animal kisses to brighten my day :)

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The furry children!

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Love what you do and don't be afraid to get dirty.
