Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure that you ask not only about price, but exactly what that price includes. Often times the initial price quoted is in regard to time only. Prints, CDs, DVDs and production work can vary greatly from photographer to photographer. Do your homework.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Many folks think that a photographer's rates are high. That's not true.

When you take into consideration the time spent taking the photos, then add the hours of post production work, and then, finally, the delivery ... well, it's time consuming. And the skills, equipment and software required to be able to produce quality photos is akin to a surgeon being required to possess skills, the tools of his/her trade and knowledge.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. In photography, as in life, I take an approach built on spontaneity. The most memorable expressions, be they laughter or tears, deserve to be captured and preserved so that the true memory is recorded.

While there is certainly a place for posed and structured photos, my photo-journalistic approach to photography is more relaxed, and therefore provides you with real memories.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The opportunity to capture cherished memories for my clients. And to be able to provide them with various styles of photography so that their memories are made more personal through their design.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. The most common question I get is: "What should I wear?"

The best answer is: "Whatever you are comfortable in."

If you are comfortable in your clothes, your body language will speak volumes. If you have a favorite color ... wear it! Favorite jewelry? Wear it! It's all about YOU.
