The Glass Cleaners

Introduction: My name is Dave Levitt and I'm the owner of The Glass Cleaners. I know what it is like to want good service and have nice things to take care of. Service is an art in it of its self. I have spent my whole life in providing honorable quality service. I'd like to give you a little bit of my background. I Started my own window cleaning business right out of college. I was working at the time selling duct and chimney cleaning. While I was out on my sales calls, I came upon a gentleman by the name of Don Williams (not the country singer). Now I was sitting there talking to him about getting the chimney cleaned, and he asked me - out of the blue, if I wanted to start a window cleaning business. I said yes. He helped me get storefront window cleaning jobs in that small little town of 15,000 for about a month, then he set me on my own. I worked in that town for about 2 years. I sold that window cleaning business to an other local business owner, and moved back to my home town (Malibu) to work with my Surf buddy Billy. We had a very successful business there for about 3 years, cleaning windows in Malibu, and of course - surfing. I decided to go on my own after that 3 years and concentrate on residential, and mid-rise buildings. I met my second window mentor about then, Mark. Now Mark helped me with my window cleaning techniques and working on mid-rise buildings. I worked on some of the coolest building and houses in the L.A. area. After about 15 years from when I started in that small little town in the Pacific Northwest, I decided to sell my L.A. window business to my buddy Dan (To this day "Dave the window washer" is one of the most successful window business' in L.A.). What I wanted to do was get into supporting computers. I did just that for about 11 years working for most of the major movie studios, supporting their Apple computers. I Moved here to Raleigh in April 2006 for a better quality of life for my family. I worked for a short time supporting Apple computers here in the Raleigh, but I found that I really missed my roots, (midlife crisis - maybe). So fast forward to 2007 and here we are with The Glass Cleaners, I know what you want. You want a company that you can trust in your home. You want a company that will treat your house, your furniture, and your landscape with the respect that it deserves. You want professional, trustworthy, customer oriented Glass Cleaners who believe in doing quality work on your buildings. So The Glass Cleaners was really born over a two decade ago. Over the years I've been able to grow my companies to the point where they were marketable to other business people. And this growth has happened due to not only top quality Glass Cleanings, but a true belief in providing honorable quality service.
