Water Damaged due to inadequate waterproofing.(Removal of patio door, decking boards, exterior wall 4x12 up from foundation,3 I joists and Vinyl Siding). Mr. Richardson came as a recommendation by someone he had work for over the years. Called him on a Sunday afternoon and he was able to come out within 2.5 hours of my call. Before he was done looking over the job and explain the circumstances to me he was hired. Hired because he didn’t try to talk numbers but solution to the problem. See other contractors came in and all I heard was $$$$$ without letting me know the solution. Mr. Richardson, explained my problem so that I was able to fully understand the work ahead of us and then told me that he would need to go back and look at materials, permit, inspection rules for the type of work he was about to do and then he can provide an estimate. He also warmed me that an estimate will be provide based on what he can see, but may or may not increase once he starts to remove the damaged materials. Well the cost did go up, but it was not a shock to the system since I was informed up. The work was done properly and along the way he would show/explain either an issue or resolution. Work was done within the promised time frame, past inspection with flying colors and I was very pleased with the end results. The inspector that came out to do inspections at different point of the work had nothing but positive feedback. With his comments I knew that I had hire the right person for the job. Word to the wise, don’t judge a book by the cover. Because someone doesn’t show up in a F150 or company name on the pocket of their shirt doesn’t mean he cannot do a good job. Licensing and recommendation is the key. I started off with the big names and ended up with a small, but reprebiale individual. Mr. Richardson is a contractor, that takes pride in his work and he does it with excellence.

I had a normal deck on the back of my house that I wanted to convert to a screened in porch. Vic did all the work required, putting new footings, roof, extending the deck, relocating stairs, etc. He did a fantastic job even matching 10 yr old architectural shingles and 5 yr old composite deck material that are not made anymore. He is very hard work, personable, and takes extreme pride in his work. I highly recommend
