Song Bird Studio

I graduated Cum Laude from the prestigious Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY. I further pursued a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from UNC Chapel Hill. My experience includes 2 years of private voice instruction at UNC and performances wth the Triangle Opera Theatre in Durham. While raising my children, I began offering free music classes at my local church and completed my Kindermusik certificate in 2006. I'm currently employed by Camp MusArt in Apex and serve as music instructor for children ages 5 -11. I also run an afternoon vocal program for middle school students at the Franklin Academy in Wake Forest, NC. I love teaching music and watching my students grow from week to week in their skills, understanding and appreciation of music. I feel privileged to bring music into the lives of others. It never feels like work to me! I consider it my highest vocation; my ministry to the community.
