Introduction: Hi, my name is Krista and I'm a professional Makeup Artist and licensed Cosmetologist specializing in Special Event makeup. I do not do hairstyling. I offer makeup for: Bridal and Wedding parties Bridal Makeup Trials Special Occasions Engagement Photos Maternity Photos Baby Showers Proms Headshots Media Events YouTube videos I offer both Traditional and Airbrushed Foundation. A little bit about me. I have been a professional Makeup Artist for 15 years and worked as a MAC Artist for 8. Active listening and communication with my clients is very important to me. I like to keep my clients involved in the process by explaining the purpose of products I'm using and how I'm using them. Teaching my clients how to do their own makeup is one of my favorites things to do. So I encourage my clients to ask me questions ! If my clients are interested in purchasing any of the products we used for her makeup look, I have a product list sheet where I fill out all products we used and where. Krista did an excellent job of making sure I was not only satisfied with my Wedding Day makeup, but was also comfortable in it. She did a trial run with me a few months prior, and as someone who does not wear a lot of makeup, having it done for the first time was a shock. But Krista took the time to work with me to find what made me feel comfortable, documented the plan so she was ready to go day-of, and did a phenomenal job when it came to execution. Not only was my makeup perfect, but she did a fantastic job of customizing each of my bridesmaids' makeup to their style and comfort level. Everyone commented throughout the evening how good of a job she did and how comfortable she made everyone feel. Plus she is very professional and practices very clean hygiene when applying makeup to different people. Her products did not irritate my face at all (which is really saying something, as I have very sensitive skin, use a topical retinol daily, and am on acne medications), and she even gave me a mini bag of some of the products she used so that I could touch up my face later in the evening. 10/10 would recommend Bloom Beauty Makeup Artistry for your makeup needs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do charge a travel and convenience fee if traveling to locations for makeup . My fees are 95$ per person, and that includes false lash application.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication with my clients is so important. I usually spend 15 minutes asking questions about what look we'll be doing. Before I start any makeup look, I ask questions about my clients' relationship with makeup, do they wear makeup, daily, sometimes, or never. If they do wear makeup, how much do they wear, and if they have any concerns about their skin or features that I can address.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a Licensed Cosmetologist in the State of California
