The Music School of Wilmington is Wilmington North Carolina's only full-service music school.

Not only do we teach drums and percussion, but we also teach brass, woodwinds, strings, guitar, bass and vocals, along with software-based programming, i.e. Pro Tools, Digital Performer, etc.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Lee is the most versitle drummer in WIlmington and the miost versitle instructor with over 30 years of instruction Lee can teach virtually any style of drumming.Lee also was on staff at Georgia State University and was first call for all the teaching studios in Wilmington.Lee opened the Music School of Wilmington Nov of 2007 and has been going strong teaching students on all levels and styles. Some of Lee's students are touring nationally with Jimmy Herring Band,Barbara Mandrell Vince Gill,Collective Soul, to mention a few...

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Being the director is a rewarding position to be in mainly because,you see the inneractivity of teachers and their students, along with developing a relationship with the parents of our students.
We also feature national clinicians in route such as Greg Howe,Jeff Sipe, Drummer and Joel Taylor LA session great...We feel that it's important to see these level players up close and personal... just what a your student needs to spur their interest as a profession musican.
