Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Photography is both an art and science. Beyond the skills necessary with cameras, lighting and other photographic equipment, great photographers need an artistic eye and the ability to be creative under pressure. Through my schooling and professional experience, I have developed these visual senses and skills to be able to capture the subtle nuances of feelings and emotions present in every person or event I photograph. When you make the decision to use Dan Bailey Photography Studio, you will work directly with me. I will be the photographer to show up in the studio, on-location, or at your event. My customers are not farmed out to less experienced employees. I have a vested interest in personally supplying my customers with images they will love for life. I photograph in a broad range of styles. I have many photographic projects and experiences to my credit, including: commercial, portrait, headshot, boudoir, editorial, location scouting and assisting for many well-known photographers and photographic companies before opening my business. I have been published internationally and domestically for both my artwork and commercial photography. My studio is located in Wilmington, contains full amenities for my customers and provides all the equipment necessary to ensure your images are created in a comfortable, professional atmosphere. It is not simply a spare room in my home or converted garage.

Dan has not only a great eye for beauty and the ability to capture memories with ease, he also has a warm heart for cold noses! After adopting a rescued basset hound who turned up pregnant he helped raise quite a litter of little bassets, allowing him to photograph the puppies in the most adorable situations- which I'm sure wasn't too hard to do, but hard to get them tosit still! These pups are just a small handful of the animals Dan has photographed with patience, tolerance, and ease as well as an obvious love for our furry companions in need. It its apparent when viewing his work that he has a natural talent for working in many diffrent situations, even rolling with the punches when the environment doesn't want to cooperate and the clients are a bunch of wiggly energetic dogs and cats. I am sure that his abilty to nab just the right picture at just the right time has helped secure many lonely pets just the right home.

Dan and I did multiple photo shoots a few years ago. He was easy to work with and made me very comfortable in his dedicated studio. The shots he took turned out amazing. I'd recommend Dan anytime!

Dan Bailey Photography does amazing work, he is very easy to work with and very accommodating. He handled the chaos caused by the children in a very professional manner, I would not and will not hesitate to call on him again when needed and would absolutely recommend him to all my family and friends..... FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When seeking a photographer, look beyond five or ten interesting images. Ask what formal training they have had and how long they have been photographing professionaly, not just as a hobbiest or as a way to generate "extra income".
