Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. You get what you pay for, period.
We've worked with many clients in the past that have come to us after having a negative experience working with a previous web developer that was 'hooking' them up with a deal or 'doing them a favor'. Quality web design and development costs money... and is worth it.
If you're serious about your business and being successful you need to be serious about investing in a quality online presence. This is no place to cut corners.
The analogy we like to use like buying a quality pair of shoes. "You spend a bit more up front but they feel good, don't hurt your feet and you don't have to buy another pair for quite sometime..."
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. It allows us to satisfy our techy / geeky side while still being creative and artistic. Every project is different so we never get bored, the endless challenge is fantastic!
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How much does a website cost? This is by far the most common question.
Over the years we've run into this question many times and it's a hard to answer right away without getting extensive input from the client. So we took a different approach and decided to offer a couple website, mobile site and e-commerce packages at a flat rate. That way the client knows exactly how much they can expect to spend and appropriate their budget accordingly.
You can even purchase one of our packages directly through our website. It's terribly simple!
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. Mobile internet usage. It is on the rise and rising FAST! In 2009 the amount people in the US using their smart phone to browse the internet came in around 17%, in 2010 about 27%.... Growing about 10% a year.
The reason - smartphones (iPhones, Blackberries, Droids) are by used by more and more people... why look up your business phone number, hours, location on their home computer when it's much easier to look it up directly on their smartphone, click a button and call your business for the information they need.
Smartphones also enable many people who have never had internet access at their home to now have it via their phone and mobile network. Wireless mobile phone network reach much further than many wired broadband providers.
