NC Land Works did an excellent job completely redoing the complex drainage system on both of our properties in Durham. It involved a lot of trenching, removing rocks, and rerouting the drain pipes. I had some very specific requests and all of them were fulfilled. We are totally impressed with Matt's professionalism, attitude, conscientiousness, patience, and friendliness. He carefully explained what needed to be done. He listened to my concerns. I highly recommend him if you want a job done right the first time. We had Matt of NC Land Works clean up several culverts and two effluent aprons, cleaning out accumulated fines, reshaping the ground, and reorganizing the rip-rap, plus deepen a drainage swale in several places. He did a masterful job with minimal impact on the surrounding grassy areas and driveway. He was careful in his work, responsive to our needs and requests, and also proactive in designing solutions to the needs we identified. Matt was highly professional and friendly as well, a pleasure to work with, which we'll do again!

Matt was outstanding to work with from start to finish. The final product of his work is exactly what we needed, and he was very thorough in his goal to set us up for success. We were having a building and a playset delivered to our backyard, which was full of tree stumps and massive rocks. He cleared everything out in a day, and made sure he stayed on site until we were satisfied with the outcome. I’ll definitely be using his services moving forward, and I HIGHLY recommend him!

Matt actually ended up not doing the job, as once he saw the issue he knew of a very simple solution that I could easily implement myself. He knew it would not be cost effective for either of us for him to do it- the solution was not one I had considered and could be easily executed by me with a few off the self supplied from Home Depot. I greatly appreciate Matt's honesty and candor. If I have a larger grading and drainage job in the future, this will be my first call!
