Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Talk to the chiropractor of your choice. They should offer a no charge consultation for you to do so. I hear people say they tried chiropractic once and stopped. You find a dentist, eye-doctor, M.D., barber, hair stylist to your liking do the same for your doctor of chiropractic. You need to be able to work together and the main concern should not be merely pain relief. Your spine has to move easily and be in it's correct position. Anyone who tells you that it is not important is either ignorant or dishonest. Wellness and prevention is the way to go.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I would want to know how long they have been in practice and if they have a family that was rasied with chiropractic. The doctor should look healthy and practice what he or she teaches. Health is not the absence of pain! Our bodies were designed to move easily, eat naturally and think positively! Sitting is unhealthy. Walking 30 minutes a day can save your life!
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. How long they have been in practice? What is their philosophy on healthcare? Do they offer Wellness & Prevention healthcare? Do they provide exercises with their treatment? Do they base progress on re-evaluations and not merely pain relief? Do they recommend correcting the cause and then helping you with wellness and prevention? Have they informed you about the deadly effects of chronic stress? All of these factors need to be addressed. Your body was designed to live to be 120, how far will you go? You must become educated about stress and lifestyle choices or it will kill you as it is now world-wide!
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I am one of a select few doctors of chiropractic with over 35 years experience in Lincoln. We offer more than the standard, natural, pain relief treatment. We will sit down and talk with you about your current problem, discuss if you have any of the 7 major signs of stress and then perform an examination to determine if we can accept you as one of our patients. Your treatment will be geared to pain relief first and then towards wellness and prevention of the # 1 killer today that of chronic illness and disease!
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Most people want to know 3 things. Can you help me, how long witll it take and how much will it costs? We will answer all three based upon our experience and your examination findings. No two people are alike and they bring different problems and symptoms which have to be analyzed before treatment can begin.
And they typically always ask about my last name and being a doctor of chiropractic.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. Chiropractic is much more than neck or back pain. Chiropractic has so much to offer in allowing the body to heal itself without medications or surgery. It was best said by Thomas Edison, " The doctor of the furture will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease." Well, that time is NOW! Chiropractic first, medications second and surgery last is the way it should be. The # 1 killer worldwide has become that of chronic illness & disease. Simple, natural methods have proven to combat that. You need to find out what those methods are and we will help you do just that!
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I first entered the health profession by becoming trained as a x-ray technician at the Univerisy of Minnesota Hospital and working in hospitals for a number of years. This learning experience opened my eyes as to what modern health care could do! I felt there had to be some thing better at times. I became introduce to chiropractic and began my education in 1972 and graduated in 1976.
