Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: There are a plethora of photographers to choose from in the greater Omaha area. Where I try to be different is how I approach customer service, quality, and cost. I want great photography to be available to everyone. Sometimes life is difficult, but that doesn't mean preserving memories through photography should be out of reach. This side-business is really designed for the customer (that's you) in mind. You are not a number or dollar sign. You're a human being that just wants some memories preserved and I want to help make that happen. With Rare One you will receive your digital images and print release with minimal cost and effort. On top of that, each image is professionally processed and edited to ensure optimal results are achieved for no extra cost. You will receive sharp, clean images ready for printing in no time at all and you will receive the images the way you want them (e.g. Google Drive, CD, flash drive, etc.) I really enjoy meeting new people and bringing them joy through photography. I can photograph people, places, and things all day long, but if there's not someone around to enjoy them then what is the point?

Joseph took impromptu pictures for an event I attended on 4/4/15. He was able to get both candid and posed shots of participants that reflected the energy of the event and the personality of the attendees. He got the pictures to the attendees who wanted them the same weekend. Amanda Nelson

We got maternity pictures taken with Joseph. He was very accommodating with the weather and last minute schedule changes! The pictures turned out amazing! I am very pleased with the pictures and how quickly he got them back to us. He was very attentive during the shot to what was comfortable for us and making sure he was getting good pictures every time. I would definitely recommend him for anyone looking to have pictures taken.

Joey was wonderful to work with! I am native to the area but live out of state. I was a little nervous about hiring someone online. Joey overcame my fears immediately. He was communicative, open, responsive, upbeat and was very easy to work with. I had an odd request for a photography project. His pricing was extremely fair. He was forthcoming with suggestions and went above and beyond to answer my questions. Not only did he work closely with me regarding my project but also was able to provide information on additional resources that I needed. I really wasn't sure at all how to go about printing and faming and long-distancing any of this. The end result will be a special gift for a family member. It would not have been possible without all of his additional assistance. I really can't believe this got done so quickly and so well. If I ever have the occasion to refer locals to Joey I most certainly will.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

New customers can contact me by phone, text, or email to arrange an initial meeting. This meeting will involve me getting to know you and learning how I can meet your photography needs. From there, we will work out times, places, and other requirements for the project.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. My emphasis is New Media which translated to multiple courses in Broadcasting (radio and television), journalism, photography, graphic design, and video production to name a few. This gave be a great level of exposure to photographic equipment and the companion computer applications. The journalism aspects made me a better story teller and observer so to capture even the most obscure details in every situation.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Like most photographers, I started using cameras as a hobby and then began photographing family and friends. Things progressed from there.
