Introduction: My name is Rick Nelson. I am the owner and photographer for Nelson Photography. Since I was 16, photography has been my passion, and in 2004, I decided to officially open my business. I specialize in all facets of portrait photography, be it weddings, families or high school seniors.

I take as much time as I need to really capture the essence of my clients. Never do I rush through a shoot, and I do not dispatch amateur photographers to any of my shoots. I take pride in providing 100% customer satisfaction; that's why, I never charge a sitting fee. If you do not like the photos I take, you are under no obligation to purchase.

I started this business to pursue my passion; that is creating enduring memories for friends and families. While I do charge for my services, my utmost payment comes when I see the smiles on my clients' faces and know that the images I've created will be cherished for many years to come.
I strive to establish lasting relationships with the families I work with, photographing the many major events in the life of a family (weddings, special events, high school graduations, etc.)

Let's face it; professional photographers can be outrageously expensive. I am a father of five, so I understand a family's desire to capture amazing portraits of their family without breaking their budget. My charge is just enough to enable me to remain in business; it's not so much that I'm embarrassed to work with my family and friends. I believe that you'll find my prices to be among the most affordable in the area, and remember, I never charge a sitting fee!
