I'm an artist first and a photographer second. I want to give you more than just photographs, I want to deliver art with you as the subject. In an oversaturated digital market, I know the importance of excellent customer service. I offer unique high quality products that you won't get from those "shoot and burn" photographers who want to leave you with the job unfinished. The gratification I get when clients first look at their photographs makes what I do worth doing. Whether it's in person or over the phone, the happiness in their voices let's me know I did a good job at the end of the day. The daily interaction with new people also keeps me on my toes, putting me outside my comfort zone, and makes me a better person and photographer. Kelli is absolutely amazing. Her photos completely exceeded my expectations! Kelli was incredibly gracious and accommodating, and really seemed to listen to exactly what our wedding was all about (small, intimate, personal, etc.). We were concerned with our wedding becoming a photo session with a wedding attached, but Kelli took great care to make her presence a personal one. In fact, I felt as though she were a friend I had invited to the wedding, rather than a stranger. Our wedding day ended up being a rainy one and I give her all the credit in the world for sticking it out with us and being so flexible, especially at an outdoor event. She made me look fabulous and she captured so many special moments and candid shots that I didn't even realize were happening. I will treasure each of these photos forever and I could not be happier with this experience. Her work is beautiful. Thank you, Kelli!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I actually started taking photography classes in high school, then went to a 4 year university and received my bachelor's degree in photography. From there, I have attended several workshops across the country, and participate in online training on a regular basis.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When getting photos done for any occasion, be wary of a photographer's background. These days, it is easy for anyone to buy a decent camera and call themselves a photographer. I know of a few well known photographers that don't even know how to use their camera outside of the automatic mode. Check out the person you're hiring. Find out if they have any educational background in the field, look at their portfolios and see how diverse they are. Also, make sure you aren't going with a "trendy" photographer, as this is a once in a lifetime event.
