There are several very talented photographers out there. I don't claim to be better than anyone else. However, I've been told that I have a very unique style. My work has been described as being mystical. I use natural light only, and I use it in a way that appears to be almost unreal. My style of editing my photos may stand out because I don't utilize presets in my workflow. Each photo gets it's own treatment. This gives my clients a very customized portfolio of images. I really just like working with people in the creative way that photography allows. Photography is extremely fun to me. And it shows in my sessions. I have no problem getting down and dirty in order to achieve a great photo. I like to step outside my comfort zone a bit. That's when the great images start to surface.

Ed is AWESOME! I had been looking for a photographer for about two months and was almost ready to give up when I saw his link on Craig's list which brought me to his verified site AKA Thumbtack. Ed makes pictures come alive. I have been told after people saw my e-session that I should be a model but that is all Ed. He knows what he is doing and what he is looking for. He is a complete professional with a contract and was always easy to get a hold of. Ed photographed both our engagement session and our wedding photos. He captured our day in a way that is so authentic, beautiful, and honest. We couldn't be happier with his work and, years later, still marvel at our treasured photos!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't have a complicated pricing system. It's easy actually. I talk to the potential client and get a complete rundown of what they are looking for in the wedding photos. And I base my price from there. I currently don't have any "ruby, diamond, sapphire, sapphire plus" packages. I simply work with the clients on what they want and build a price from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm self taught. I read books now and then on photographers, but not to learn any certain technique.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wouldn't really call it my line of work honestly. This is a passion of mine that just so happens to allow me to make some money. I like to call photography a hobby of mine. I'm always out with my camera. I'm perfectly content not making a penny with photography. I've just been blessed that some people would pay me to provide them with the images I love to make regardless.
